Not all sales are equal.
If you don’t know how much you make per deal, how can you know how many sales you need?
Example:
- Revenue Goal = €20,000
- Average Deal = €2,500
- You need 8 sales this month. Simple.
- Close Rate
This tells you how many sales calls turn into “yes”.
If you close 1 in 4 calls (25%), you need 32 calls to get 8 sales.
If you close 1 in 2 (50%), you only need 16.
Your close rate shows where the real issue is:
Not enough calls? Or weak conversion?

Getting leads is great.
But if they’re not turning into calls, what’s the point?
If you only turn 1 in 10 leads into a call, your funnel is leaking badly.

- Sales Cycle Length
How long does it take from “Hello” to “We’re in”?
If it’s 2 weeks, great — you can forecast revenue.
If it’s 2 months, you’ll need way more pipeline just to stay afloat.
